About Me
Hi there! My name is Aracelis Cervantes-Oyadomari and I am a Creative Media student at the University of HawaiÊ»i – West OÊ»ahu working towards achieving my Bachelor’s degree in General Creative Media. When I first graduated from high school I had no immediate plans in terms of getting a job or going to college, but through a conversation with my close friend I decided to follow her in going to community college.
I began my journey at Leeward Community College and received my Associates degree in Digital Media, as well my love for illustration was reignited through the program and found myself enjoying photography as well! After graduating I transferred to West Oʻahu to begin the Creative Media program, and have enjoyed my education and experiences immensely so far.

Being able to have gone further with my education, especially with a focus on art which I have loved since I was young, makes me feel so incredibly grateful for what I have learned and the people I have met within the program. In order to create art one must consume art to gain inspiration and by meeting so many people it has expanded my worldview in terms of places and perspectives to look at for inspiration. With my degree and education it is my hope that one day I’ll be able to work off of drawing illustrations, and to even open up my own online shop to sell my works.
Working in Progress
